Looking at just the statistics, this fight is very similar to the Joker’s March bout against David Branch. In both matches Hermansson took on an opponent 5 years senior who absorbed over 10 more strikes, and attempted nearly 5 less significant strikes per round. Clearly Branch and Cannonier have completely different fighting styles, however, in both cases Hermansson enters the match the more complete fighter. Both of these men have heavy hands; both are tactful strikers.
